in 1995 to serve as judge, pro tempore, in the 27th Judicial District Court. In 2003, Morrow was appointed to the Louisiana State Association Intermediate Appellate Court Committee,
and has been appointed as a member of the board of trustees of the LSU Law Center. Morrow has been counsel in more than 1,000 litigated cases, some with multimillion-dollar results. He
has served as both lead and co-lead class counsel in numerous class actions resulting in settlements of hundreds of millions of dollars. Morrow has also served on several plaintiffs’ committees in multidistrict litigation filed all over Louisiana.
James P. Ryan, partner of the firm, is also listed in Louisiana Super Lawyers. He has been counsel in more than 1,000 litigated cases, achieving multimillion-dollar results. Ryan devotes 100 percent of his practice to litigation. His practice focuses on class actions, mass torts, personal injury, admiralty and maritime law, medical malpractice, products liability and toxic tort. Ryan has served as lead and co-lead class counsel for numerous class actions resulting in settlements of hundreds of millions of dollars. Most recently, Ryan successfully negotiated the first class action settlement involving medical malpractice in Louisiana.
