Our residents went to the quarterly TRIAD held by the St. Landry Sherriff's Dept & Crime Stoppers.
We listened to many speakers from our community all directed towards educating seniors on the dangers of recent scams and their general safety. We listened to entertainment provided by Mr. Glenn Dale Fontenot and won a few door prizes followed by a delicious meal.
We want to thank the Town of Opelousas, SLP Sherriff's Office, and everyone who volunteered to help us protect our elders from these scams!
